Over the past 10 years Drew Wensley has worked on landscape and planning projects at all scales. Since becoming Executive Vice President of Moriyama & Teshima Planners Limited in 2003, Drew has worked closely with George Stockton on the recently completed Wadi Hanifah Comprehensive Development Plan, with hands-on involvement in all phases of the project from Master Plan to Implementation Program development. He has been responsible for designing numerous residential gardens and has worked on campus master plans including Havergal College in Toronto. Current work includes designing the green roof of the new home for the Canadian War Museum in Ottawa, where he is the key liaison with the National Capital Commission.
Drew's unique ability to translate vast amounts of information and multi-dimensional ideas into pragmatic environmental solutions is demonstrated through his thorough understanding of complex projects from concept to construction detail. His skills in master plan and concept development and design, including mapping, are complemented by his expertise in site analysis and landscape design. Drew has worked with many institutional clients and easily assumes a leadership role in managing stakeholder groups and client committees and helping them reach conciliation.
During 1998 and 1999, Drew provided services in landscape architecture for two of Moriyama & Teshima's projects - Thunder Bay Charity Casino in northern Ontario and the Havergal College Expansion in Toronto.
